Run. Eat. Repeat! A test of both endurance and gastro-intestinal fortitude, the STUFF YOUR FACE RACE 5K/10K/Relay is like no other in Central Florida! Build a team or take on the challenge yourself to eat-and-run your way to the finish line.

Participants will have the opportunity to fundraise for time bonuses, bragging rights, and ultimately to support IMPOWER's life-changing mental health, substance misuse and child well-being programs aimed at inspiring life's potential and helping individuals and families lead safe, healthy, meaningful and productive lives.

Our mission is serious.  Our event is not! So grab your friends, build your team, create outrageous outfits, laugh and run with abandon, and, of course, stuff your face!

Actual course maps and menu items will be posted the week of July 15th.

About the Race

Stuff Your Face Race is a professionally-timed relay event designed for fun, camaraderie and fundraising. This unique event challenges teams and/or individuals to relay -- and eat -- their way to the finish line of a 3.1 or 6.2 mile course along Lake Baldwin (Orlando), all in an effort to raise funds for IMPOWER's life-changing programs and services.

Why a relay? The relay represents 4 tenants that fuel our overall well-being and positive mental health, including:
     * Teamwork - The benefits of connection and a shared purpose or goal.
     * Community - The mental health boost we get when we give and serve.
     * Exercise  - connecting nature with exercise results in an improved mood & energy level and decreases stress!
     * Laughter  - We take our mission seriously, but not ourselves! A healthy dose of humor goes a long way to our well-being.

So how does it work?
The distance and the number of people you choose to run with will determine the number of "legs" in your relay and the number of food stations you must complete on the course. For example, an individual 5K runner will run "leg 1" and "leg 2" and eat at food "athlete food tent 1" and "athlete food tent 2".  A four person team registered for the 10K will run all four (4) "legs" and eat at all four (4) food stations - one located at the end of each leg near the transition point. Runner #1 will run their leg, "stuff your face" with a specialty food item prepared by a local restaurant and then pass the baton to the next team member. The process would repeat until you cross the finish line.

Here's how it breaks down:

Individual 5K Runners and 2 Person Relay Teams:
Leg 1& Athlete Food Station 1:  1.5ish miles & BRIO | Tomato Caprese Bruschetta or Tomato Bruschetta (vegetarian & vegan options)
Leg 2& Athlete Food Station 2:  1.5ish miles & HOT DOG HEAVEN | All beef Vienna hot dog with steamed poppy seed bun

Individual 10K and 4 Person Relay Teams will do the above Leg 1 and Leg 2 PLUS:
Leg 3 & Athlete Food Station 3:1.5ish miles & GATORS DOCKSIDE | Item TBD
Leg 4 & Athlete Food Station 4:  1.5ish miles & 4 RIVERS | Smoked Jalapenos

Have an allergy, dietary restriction or aversion to something at one of the food tents? We can’t swap meals or modify the menu but we can offer substitute eaters! You can't skip the tent but you can make a $5 donation to have one of our designated volunteers eat for you. Just make your selection when you register or check out the FAQs for more info.
