The 2021 COFFEE POT TURKEY TROT 5K is a family–friendly, timed 5K looping around St. Petersburg’s Coffee Pot Bayou on Thanksgiving morning. Returning as an in-person race for its fifth year, the event is a beloved tradition for families, friends, and fitness enthusiasts. The event is hosted by the North Shore Elementary PTA to benefit North Shore Elementary, a Title One School.
The North Shore Elementary PTA believes that every school has the potential for success. Active parents, a supportive community, and engaged students can combine to make any school a warm and stimulating environment in which students are inspired to succeed.
The 5th Annual Coffee Pot Turkey Trot Thanksgiving Day 5K will take place on Thursday November 25, 2021.

Yes, there will be one water station, generously sponsored by Guardian Restoration Services.
Yes! We present awards for the overall male and female runners (1st, 2nd & 3rd places) as well as overall 12-and-under runners. In addition, age division winners will receive small awards.
We also encourage Thanksgiving themed costumes for the race and will award prizes for best individual and best group costumes.

All pre-race packet pick-ups will take place at North Shore Elementary. Packet pick-up is generously sponsored by Green and Henwood Wealth Management Group. Information on dates and times of packet pickup will be posted closer to race day.
Yes, with a copy of their identification you may pick up someone else’s race bib.
Gear check/hold is not available on race day.
For safety reasons, except for participants pushing a baby stroller/jogger, no wheeled vehicles including but not limited to: scooters, rollerblades, rolling shoes and bicycles are allowed on the race course. Participants pushing a baby stroller/jogger will line up in a designated start corral.
No. Dogs are not allowed on school board property, which is where the event will start and finish.

On-site results will be available following the race; a link to results will be emailed to all valid email addresses post-race.
