Resident Information & Road Closure Notice
Event Date: Thursday, November 27, 2025 (Thanksgiving Morning)
Event Time: 7:15 AM – 9:00 AM
Location: Cherry Lake Park and surrounding roads in Groveland

Thank you for helping us make this beloved Thanksgiving tradition a safe and enjoyable event for everyone! Below is important information regarding road closures and traffic flow during the AdventHealth Groveland Turkey Trot 5k & 10k presented by LiveTrends Design Group

🚧 Road Closures
Wilson Lake Parkway will be closed from CHERRY LAKE PARK TO THE NORTH ENTRANCE OF TRILOGY  from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM to ensure the safety of participants. Please plan travel accordingly.

 
🏘️ Community Access Details  / Map Key

1. Bellevue Community: Residents should exit via Aspen View Circle during the closure period.
2. Cascades of Groveland / Trilogy Community: Please enter and exit through Spanish Cove Way (the north entrance) during the event.
3. Libby Number 3 Road, South O’Brien Road, and West Libby Road (including Arborwood Community): Runners will be present on the roadway. Please drive with extreme caution and use Coralwood Lane to access Cherry Lake Road for exits.
4. Parkside Estates & Wilson Estates Communities: Residents are asked to delay exiting their neighborhood until approximately 8:45–9:00 AM, when the course is cleared and roads reopen. Event staff will be positioned at your gate to communicate with Groveland PD in case of any emergency.
 

👮‍♂️ Safety & Support
Groveland Police Department officers will be stationed throughout the course to assist with traffic and ensure safety. Event staff and volunteers will also be available to communicate with residents and assist as needed.
