Let's burn off as many calories as possible before the bird even comes out of the oven! Join FloDash runners and walkers for the 5th annual AdventHealth Groveland Turkey Trot 5K & 10k presented by LiveTrends Design Group, as we start our Thanksgiving morning with a nation wide tradition for the entire family. Participants will experience a safe and distanced start and finish line at Cherry Lake Park. Run or walk on a course designed to showcase some of Groveland's most beautiful hills on the Wilson Lake Parkway trail and there is some off road, hard packed for a portion of the 10K. All participants will receive a chip timed bib, a race shirt to be revealed soon, a finisher's medal and a post race snack and beverage.
There will be race day registration but the price does go up so register early and save. Please read our refund /exchange bib policy and our Frequently Asked Questions to get all the information you need. There are no refunds, but we do have a generous exchange policy.

Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks for everything you have in your life. To many, it's also about giving back. We will conduct a collection of non perishables during packet pickup and race day that will be delivered to the local non profit the Neighborhood Center of South Lake to help feed local families during the Christmas Holiday. In addition, donations made will also benefit The Neighborhood Center of South Lake.
Race Day Start times
Packet Pickup: Stop by Dash Sports at 741 W Montrose Street in Downtown Clermont to grab your packet on Tuesday Nov 26th 2PM - 6PM or Wednesday from 2 pm - 6 pm or race day morning at the race venue from 6:00am-7:00am.
AWARDS: The amazing awards provided by Live Trends Design Group will be a wonderful addition to all our top finisher's homes!! Awards will begin at 8:45am with the 5K results and followed by the 10K results shortly after.
You may log in to our results page to view the results post race as participants finish. ***We will no longer be holding awards at Dash Sports to be picked up within a week. We want to encourage all our finishers to stay for awards and cheer each other on. You've got to get on that podium and let us celebrate you***
TEAM / FAMILY DISCOUNTS: Bring the whole gang and take advantage of our group pricing when 4 or more members register under the same team name. Teams of 4 or more will receive $5 off each registration. Upon creating the team, the first 3 registrants will pay full price, once the team minimum of 4 members has been reached, the previous 3 registrations will receive an automatic $5 refund. All registrations to the same team after that will already reflect the $5 discount at checkout.
STROLLER AND DOG RESTRICTIONS: For safety reasons NO pets of any kind are allowed on the race course during the event, so leave your turkey home🦃 Service dogs will be allowed and we ask that you please line up at the end of the pack. Bicycles, skateboards, or any other non-authorized motorized carts or vehicles are not allowed on the race course during the event. Please help us execute a safe race for everyone and leave your pooch and wheels off the course. Strollers please line up at the back of the pack.
This race is a closed course. It is not open to the public. Anyone running without a bib is subjecting themselves to a misdemeanor and putting the race in jeopardy.

Participants will cross the street at the park entrance and walk left towards the start. The race will start on the road (Wilson Lake Parkway), heading out 1.5 miles to the turn around and returning on the paved trail to Cherry Lake Park.
10K participants get ready to tackle some beautiful paved roads as well as some off road fun. The 10K starts on the road portion of Wilson Lake Parkway and taking a left turn on W Libby Road as you loop around the clay and dirt roads. The 10K course will meet up with the 5K as you exist the off road section and take a left on Wilson Lake Parkway to the turn around by Trilogy. The return portion of the 10K & 5K will be on the paved portion of the trail taking you back to the parking area/finish line. Please note the portions off of Wilson Lake Parkway will be off road.
FloDash Events is proud to help out our community by donating to a local non-profit. The Groveland Turkey Trot 5K & 10k will be helping out The Neighborhood Center of South Lake. In addition we will be collecting non perishable items so they may serve local families with meals for the Christmas Holiday. Please help them by bringing your items to either packet pickup or race day.
