Bib Pickup
On behalf of all of us at Gennesaret and Western Reserve Racing, thank you for participating in the 34th Home Run for the Homeless. We are grateful to be surrounded by good people like you and for your generosity in helping to support families in need in our community. Here is your pre-race information.
BIB PICKUP
- Monday 2PM–7PM Vertical Runner Hudson
- Tuesday 2PM–7PM Vertical Runner Hudson
- Wednesday 12PM–5:30PM Gennesaret
- Thanksgiving 7AM–8:30AM Gennesaret
T-SHIRTS & MEDALS

If you purchased a t-shirt or medal, you can pick them up only on WEDNESDAY or THURSDAY at Gennesaret. No t-shirts or medals will be available at Vertical Runner.
DONATIONS
- You will receive a commemorative race medal for your donation of $5 or more given at bib pickup. 100% of your donation is used to provide meals to those in need – every $5 provides 10 meals.
RACE LOCATION AND START TIMES
- Gennesaret, 419 West Exchange St., Akron, OH 44302
- 8:30AM – 1 mile
- 9:00AM – 4 mile
RACE DAY INFORMATION
- We encourage you to pick up your bib prior to race day. Race morning will be very busy.
- Online registration will remain open through race day.
- We will have a collection bin on race day where you can donate canned goods or nonperishables; we will also have a bin for donations of used running shoes.
PARKING
- Akron Children's Hospital, P3 Buchtel Parking Deck, 201 West Buchtel Ave., Akron, OH 44302
- Parking is FREE, spaces are abundant, and the gates will be open. We are not using shuttles this year.
AWARDS
- Top 3 Overall, Top 1 Masters, Top 1 Grand Masters (both Males and Females) will receive a turkey and engraved crystal mug.
- Top 3 Males and Females in each Age Group will receive a turkey for first place, pumpkin pie for second place, and jam for third place, in addition to ribbons and commemorative mugs.
- The award ceremony will be in the parking lot.
RAFFLE
- Raffle tickets will be sold Wednesday and Thursday at Gennesaret during bib pickup. The prize list is posted on the race website.
