Splash & Dash
The SPLASH & DASH race provides athletes who may not have a bike or do not feel comfortable on a bike in a competition setting to still participate in the event.
The SPLASH & DASH is limited to 100 participants. Once we have reached the maximum number of participants, no additional participants will be allowed to register for this division.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the SPLASH & DASH race, a participant must meet the following criteria:
- Must be between 6 and 17 years old as of the event date.
- Must be able to complete the prescribed course, described below, alone with no assistance.*
*Volunteers and race crew will be available to provide assistance in the transition area with basic functions such as finding participant’s transition sport and removing the bike from the transition rack. NO PARENTAL ASSISTANCE IS ALLOWED DURING THE EVENT.
SCHEDULE
The SHORT COURSE SPLASH & DASH will be offered on Saturday & Sunday. The LONG COURSE SPLASH & DASH will only be offered on Sunday. See the SCHEDULE OF EVENTS page for additional details.
COURSE
The SHORT COURSE SPLASH & DASH course will follow the same route at the short course triathlon minus the bike, i.e. a 125-meter swim and a 1-mile run.
The LONG COURSE SPLASH & DASH course will follow the same route as the long course triathlon minus the bike, i.e. a 225-meter swim and a 1.6-mile run.
Athletes will use the same start line, transition, and finish line as the triathlon.

AWARDS
All finishers will receive a finisher’s medal at the finish line. There are no awards for SPLASH & DASH participants.
