***NEW IN 2023*** Hill of a Race TEAM FITNESS CHALLENGE

The Hill of a Race Team Fitness Challenge will take place beginning at 6:00pm on Friday, August 25 at Ewing Park II. 

How it works:

  • Register as team of 2.
  • A team will be sent out every minute.
  • From starting gate, team runs to first obstacle.  
  • Run to next obstacle.
  • Course will contain five obstacles that racers will also encounter on Saturday's Hill of a Race event; Olympus, Bob's Bar, Stairway to Heaven, Teeter Totter, and Rig. (For required obstacle tasks, see below).
  • Teams can decide who completes obstacles and exercises.  Any combination, including one person completes all obstacles and second person all exercises.
  • After last obstacle, teams cross finish line together.
  • If the obstacle isn't completed, teams a choice of a 60 second penalty or partners swap exercise and obstacle task.  If failed again, teams will receive a 60 second penalty.
  • Cost is $20/person or $40/team of two.
  • Faster finishing team will receive a trophy.

Team Fitness Challenge obstacles with corresponding exercise component (note: exercise components will NOT be required on Saturday's main event) 

  • Olympus - Reverse Lunges Ram 20
  • Bob's Bar - Ram Burpees 10
  • Stairway to Heaver - Shoulder Balls 10
  • Teeter Totter - Sit Up's 20
  • Rig - Tank 25 meters push
