The Citrus Classic 5K celebrates the rich history of Vero Beach and the Indian River Citrus' industry and legacy.  In the late 1800's, early Florida settlers began the commercial cultivation of citrus and an industry was born. Indian River Lagoon country, which is along the middle of the eastern coast of Florida, proved to be the prime location for growing the finest citrus in the world.

Running Zone Series Amenities

Our series races provides participants with an exceptional experience including: 

• Plenty of fluids along the course and finish area

• Split clocks at each mile and directional markers

• 1/2 mile, 1/4 mile, 200 meters & 100 meters signs to finish line

• Electronic timing with immediate results

• Finisher certificates & finish line video 

• Unique race-themed awards

• Great Post-Race beer party for 21 & up

Participate in all four Race Series events and get a Finisher Custom Tervis! (See more information on our Series Page). All events have a virtual option. Participation and submission of results maintain eligibility for 4 Race Series Finisher Tervis.

Fees

(Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.)

• Individual Registration: $35.00 ($40 Race Day)

• Kid’s Registration: $20.00 ($25 Race Day)
