“The Great Locomotive Chase 5K” Presented by The City of Adairsville!  

Saturday morning – April 13th – 8:00 AM!  Enjoy this one-of-a-kind route that winds through and around lovely downtown Adairsville, GA and Follows the Tracks where  the actual Chase took place!!!  The 5K start and finish are adjacent to the historic Downtown Adairsville Train Depot, Where the Great Locomotive Chase passed through on April 12th, 1862!!  We know you’ll love this inaugural held 1 day after the actual event itself 162 years ago!!   Proceeds go to benefit "Cancer Navigators" (info here:  https://cancernavigatorsga.org/)

Pre-Registration Packet Pick-Up: Friday, April  12th, from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM in the Adairsville City Hall office located at 116 Public Square, Adairsville, GA 30103

Race Day Schedule of Events:
*6:45 AM Race Day Registration Opens
*7:45 AM Race Day Registration Closes
*8:00 AM 5K Start time
*9:15 AM Awards Ceremony 

AWARDS:
5K Overall: Awards will be given to the Top Three (3) Overall M&F finishers, as well as the Top Master M&F.

5K Age Groups: Awards will be given to the Top Three (3) male/female finishers in each of the following age groups: 10&Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 & Over.
