Description

Partnered with the Boston Bruins Foundation, the Hero’s Cup Foundation is the host of the country’s largest first responder hockey tournament, the BFit Heroes Cup. The BFit Heroes Cup is a weekend long event designed to bring firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement, and military members together to raise money and awareness for multiple charities. With 110 teams, 2,000 players, and 10,000+ spectators, the mission of the Hero’s Cup Foundation is to promote first responder mental health.

Requirements:
All team members must be active or retired fire, law enforcement, EMS, dispatch, or military.

First responder ID is required at registration and throughout the tournament weekend.
Divisions A, B, C, D with subdivisions as needed.

Teams will play:
3 games between Friday and Saturday
Sunday Playoffs:

Semi-Finals: 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3
Championship: Winners will play for a $1,000 donation to a charity of their choice

Fees and Registration:
All tournament fees and fundraising will be done on this site.

Fee: Team buy-in $2,500 (just $155.00 per player at a 16-person roster).
This will cover ice times, referees, score keepers, and the tournament entry package.
Deposit: $500.00 due December 15, 2023.

Fundraising: If your team raises $2,500 above the $2,500 registration fee, you can select the charity the funds will be donated to. If less than $2,500 is raised, the funds will go to the Hero’s Cup Foundation.

Top fundraising teams will qualify for additional incentives.

Registration is first come first serve so please submit your registration to reserve your spot in the 2024 BFit Heroes Cup.

Hero’s Cup Foundation: 
The BFit Heroes Cup is made up of a Volunteer Board dedicated to the mission of the Hero’s Cup Foundation:

“The mission of the Hero’s Cup Foundation is to promote first responder mental health. Designed to bring firefighters, law enforcement, dispatchers, EMS workers, and military members together, HCF is a nonprofit charitable organization and the host of the largest first responder hockey tournament, the BFit Heroes Cup. Through social gatherings and physical activity, HCF raises awareness and funds for the needs of the first responder community and the charities they support.”
