Description
The Heritage Classic is continuing our tradition with a virtual race! What is a Virtual Race? A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Complete the 5K anytime between October 1 - October 18.
The Heritage Classic is open to all Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Health System employees, students, retirees, contractors, volunteers and their families. Runners and walkers of all abilities and ages are welcome. Proceeds support a great cause: the Mayo Clinic Hope Fund, created to help patients and families in financial need, providing assistance for indirect, unanticipated costs such as food, lodging and transportation while receiving care at any Mayo Clinic location.
FOR THOSE REGISTERING FOR A SHIRT:
Register by September 15 to receive your packet (shirt, medal, bib) before October 1. All registrations after September 15 will receive your packet after the start of the virtual event. All packets will be mailed to a home address.
