Cystic Fibrosis 5K/1 Mile Walk

Hello! My name is Victoria Voelp and I am a current senior at Seneca Valley Senior High School. For my senior project, I decided to hold an event to benefit those who are affected by Cystic Fibrosis. For my project, I will be hosting a 5k/1 mile walk event on March 19th, 2017 at Adams township community park to raise money to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. With currently over 30,000 people with this genetic disease in the United States alone. Having personal relations with family members diagnosed, I knew I wanted to do something to make an impact. Cystic Fibrosis affects the cells the produce mucus, sweat, and digestive juices causing the lungs and digestive system to weaken. With this in mind, my plan is to provide more awareness and to raise more money to impact those affected with this horrible genetic disease. With your help we can continue adding tomorrows!
