The 2024 Reading Hospital Road Run, hosted by The Friends of Reading Hospital, will include our standard in-person event distances of 10K and 5K races and 1 mile fun walk/run to be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
5K & 10K - 8:00am
Both distances will be chip-timed. The course will start and finish in front of the iconic clock tower and will loop around the park and neighborhoods south of the hospital campus. The 10K will be a second loop of the 5K course making it very spectator friendly. All participants will receive a short-sleeve wicking race shirt (must register by October 5th to be guaranteed your size). Cash prizes of $100 for 1st place overall, $50 for 2nd place overall, and $25 for 3rd place overall will be awarded in each of the Men's and Women's divisions. Age-group awards will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
1 Mile Fun Walk/Run - 8:15am
This untimed event will start and finish in front of the clock tower at the hospital.
