Do you offer race day / in person registrations?
Registration will remain open online through race day. Anyone not yet registered can still do so until 8:00am on race day, but new runners must register themselves and pay online on their own device before proceeding to packet pickup. NO PAPER registration will be provided, nor will race day staff assist with registering race-day signups. We strongly recommend race-day entrants register on your own at home on or prior to race morning to ensure adequate time to troubleshoot any problems prior to arrival.
Can I get a refund if I can't attend?
Reading Hospital Road Run is a fundraiser for The Friends of Reading Hospital. No refunds will be given.
Is the course fully closed to vehicles?
Course roadways will have limited closures the morning of the race beginning at 7:40 a.m. and are expected to reopen by 10:00 a.m. Note that many roadways will not be fully closed to traffic during the events, so participants must pay attention to their surroundings and all directions of course officials. Residents along the race route are encouraged to leave extra time if they need to travel in the race area on race morning, a limited closures or delays will be in place.
Do you allow Strollers, Pets, Music Devices?
For your safety, strollers and pets are explicitly prohibited during the 5K and 10K events. We strongly discourage the use of personal music devices during the race for your safety.
Where can I park on race day?
Free parking for all runners will be located in the Spruce Parking lot, located on the corner of 6th Avenue and Spruce. This Garage can be accessed from 6th Avenue.
Where and when can I get my race packet?
Packet Pick-Up is on Sunday, October 20, from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. for the 5K & 10K run and until 8:30 a.m. for the 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run.
Is there a post race party?
We encourage all runners and their families to join us post-race in our outdoor celebration area for light refreshments and awards ceremonies for both the 5K and 10K events.
Can I volunteer to help if I don't want to take part as a participant?
