Race Sponsor: Yardley Borough Parks and Recreation Board is hosting the 13th annual Yardley 5k. The run begins in the heart of Yardley Borough and includes River Road along the Delaware River and along the Delaware Canal Towpath.
Awards, fees, and t-shirts: Race fee includes a t-shirt to all participants that register by April 22, 2023.
Awards: First Place Overall Male; First Place Overall Female, plus gender specific age groups as follows: 14 & under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 plus. Age group awards for first, second and third place will be based on net time, not order of finish.
Walkers and strollers are welcome, and we ask that you start at the back.
You must finish within 40 minutes for your time to count towards an award. There is a 50-minute course limit for this race.

Awards Ceremony: After the race, in Buttonwood Park, runners that qualify with an award-winning time can pick up thier medals.
Restrooms: Two Porta-Potties will be available at in Buttonwood Park for race participants.
Race Start: Promptly at 8:30am outside Starbucks on West Afton Street, Yardley Borough.
Race Course: The race course begins on West Afton (at Starbucks), heads east toward the River along Afton Avenue to River Road. The course the heads north along River Road with views of the Delaware River. After continuing for approximately 1.25 miles going under the Scudder Falls Bridge, the course turns left onto Woodside Avenue and then left again onto the Delaware Canal Towpath for approximately 1 mile. The towpath will become Edgewater Road and the course continues on Edgewood Road until the intersection of Brown Street. The course goes left onto Brown Street until it dead ends at River Road. The course then heads south on River Road and then back west on to Afton Avenue. Continuing to Afton Avenue to the finish line, where it started - outside of Starbucks.
