Annual Banquet
Friday, March 28, 2025 at 6:00 PM
The banquet will be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm to celebrate Richmond Road Runners Club's volunteers and Grand Prix finalists. Dinner will start at 7:00 PM followed by our guest speaker, Sue Ellen Henneberry, and an awards presentation. Dinner includes a buffet, dessert and coffee/tea. There will be a cash bar to purchase soft drinks, beer, and wine.
Everyone in the running community is welcome to attend. We have space for 200 people.
If you have volunteered for an RRRC event in 2024, you are eligible for a $15 savings using code VOLUNTEER. When registering with this code, please be prepared to enter the name of the race at which you volunteered.
Our speaker, Sue Ellen Henneberry, has been on a journey of adversity to triumph that inspires everyone. After complications from long COVID and an autoimmune disorder caused the amputation of her lower left leg, Sue turned to athletics to help regain her confidence.
From running a 10k just six months after her amputation to completing a 500 mile bike ride and a marathon within two years, Sue has demonstrated the hardest roads lead to the most rewarding destinations. Now a certified amputee mentor and coach, she helps others find and embrace their strength and resilience.
Please join us in learning more about Sue's incredible journey in running and sport.
The dinner menu includes options for vegetarians, vegan, and those following a gluten free and/or dairy free diet. Please make sure to select your preferred choice when completing the registration process.

Refund Policy
All paid registration fees and processing fees for the banquet are non-refundable and non-transferable, no exceptions. In the event of postponements or cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, there will be no refunds.
If you register as a free guest of RRRC (as either a Grand Prix finalist or guest) and find that you cannot attend the banquet, you have two options:
- Manage your own registration via RunSignup and "request a refund" (even though you did not pay anything) to cancel your participation no later than March 22, 2025.
- Contact suzisilver@yahoo.com to cancel your reservation.
NOTE: If you register as a free guest of RRRC and do not attend and have not cancelled your reservation, you will be charged $50.00 for each reservation.
