Virtual Races

What is a Virtual Race?

A virtual race is all about YOU!  It is your race, your way, your location.  Do it alone or with a friend (virtually or with social distancing!), with your kids, partner, or your dog.  There is no set date, no worry about who you are running with or if you will be the last to cross the finish line.  Design your own course - flat, hilly or some of both!  Just be YOUR best!

How does this work?  What are the details....

Pick your race and register

  • Fun Run:  One Mile  (with your kids?),
  • 5K
  • Duathlon (5k run, 18 mile bike, 5K run)
  • Bike Time Trail (17 miles)

Design your course - where are you going to run and/or bike?  Flat, hilly or both?

  • Options:
    • Anywhere:  Design your course wherever you are!
    • Experience Fayetteville:  Come to Fayetteville before Sept 8 and complete the actual Iron Pig Course!  Download the RaceJoy App from the play store on your phone and follow the course.  Remember there is no support, so follow the Rules of the Road!  Be Safe!

Get yourself ready!  Do (or don't) train, get your gear ready, make sure you have hydration handy, be prepared for photos (see our fun suggestions on Facebook or Instagram)

Ready, Set.....Go!  Run and/or bike your race! Even though a virtual race is all about YOU and there is no need for "results" we would LOVE to hear about your experience!  Congrats (in advance) for completing your race!

Tell US! Share your photos - your finish lines, routes, costumes, or other fun along the way.  Follow our social media pages for suggestions and be sure to post your pictures and tag us!  #IronPigMyWay

Get your SWAG!  Due to the current closures your SWAG may be delayed.  As soon as we receive the various products we will begin shipping them to you (approximately mid Sept.) Thanks for your patience!   *addresses outside of the US will be charged an additional fee for shipping.
