About Chris
Chris Kelly possesses a Masters Degree in Journalism from Columbia University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and has completed education from systems such as Functional Range Conditioning, Postural Restoration Institute, Bill Hartman’s Intensive and Neurokinetic Therapy. Chris is the owner of Fitness-Rehab, a sports medicine and holistic training studio located in Lakeland Florida.
Through Fitness Rehab, Chris works with a wide variety of clients ranging from professional athletes to pre and post surgery clients seeking to use movement and breathing to improve their quality of life and athletic performance.

Drill Videos
This primary activation sequence is our goal for the 5k group.
Primary Activation - connecting the foot to the ground.
Perform on each side for 20 to 60 seconds.
- Slouchy split squat (Focus on heel + inner foot)
- Split stance knee drive (Focus on heel + inner foot)
- Split stance heel raises (Focus on pushing through forefoot)
Secondary activation - dynamic warm up.
Perform each exercise for 20-30 yards for 2-3 rounds.
- Backward walking (video coming)
- Cross connect march
- Lateral walking
- A- skipping

Increased mobility resources, perform as needed.
