Where do the proceeds go?
All of the proceeds go to support youth running in Michigan. In 2019 the Michigan Running foundation gave out over $70K in grants to support High School and Middle School Cross Country and Track programs, Youth Track Clubs, pay to play scholarships, Cross Country Camp scholarships to help students attend the camp if they cannot afford to go.
Where do I park?
There is ample free parking in the Lansing Community College ramp. After the race you are able to exit the ramp before the last runner has finished. There is also free parking on the streets of Lansing on Capitol Ave and Washington Street.
Is there a Packet Pickup?
Yes at the Playmakers store on Tuesday 11/24 and Wednesday 11/25 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm (both days). Packet pick up will be walk-up outside of the Playmakers community center, look for the windwaiver.
The Playmakers store located at 2299 West Grand River Ave. Okemos, MI 48864. If you are running the race virtually you have the option to pick up your packet at Packet Pickup or have your packet shipped to you for an additional $5. You must select which option during registration.
Can I pick up my family or friend’s packet at Packet Pick Up?
Yes, for both the in-person event and the virtual event.
What are the T-shirt sizes?
Your entry fee includes a Dri-Power Active Long Sleeve 50/50 T-Shirt. Youth S, M, L, and Adult S, M, L, XL, XXL. Shirts are not guaranteed after Tuesday, November 17th.
I forgot what time slot I signed up for, how do I check? At the top of the page go to More, Participant Tracking and search for you name. The event/time-slot will be listed. Click here to go directly to that page.
Are baby joggers and strollers allowed?
Yes. The race can accommodate strollers and baby joggers. We do ask that you stay to the right on the river trail and allow others to pass as necessary.
What is the course like?
The course starts and finishes at Adado Park in front of Lansing Community College. Course is wheeled and exactly 5000 Meters. 1, 2 and 3 miles will be marked.
This is the 2020 course. We will go back to our normal course in Downtown Lansing in 2021!
Results and Awards
Results will be available mid-day on Thursday, November 26th, after all participants have finished. There will not be an award ceremony or award distribution at the event. Awards will be available at Playmakers starting Friday November 27th.
Are Dogs Allowed?
No. For the safety of the participants and the dogs we ask that you not bring your dog.
Are refunds allowed? No, there are no refunds for either the in-person or virtual events. The in-person race will change to all virtual if we are unable to hold it due to orders from the State of Michigan.
