Dear Charles River Swimmers,
Due to the current conditions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Charles River One Mile Swim. We have come to this decision with the well-being of our participants, volunteers, and the local community in mind. If you are currently registered for the swim, you may select either a full refund or to donate your registration fee. We ask that you please make your decision by May 24th. If you do not c hhose an option by May 24th, your entry will be refunded. Should you elect to donate the fee, the money will be used to fund donations to organizations that support the cleanliness and community use of the Charles River. This includes Community Boating, Inc., The Charles River Conservancy, and The Charles River Clean Up Boat.
We eagerly look forward to the day when it is safe for us to gather to swim in the river. We wish all of the best to you and your loved ones during this challenging time.
Thank you as always for supporting our swim.
On behalf of the Charles River Swimming Club,
Kate Radville
