The 17th Annual Run for Sight 5K, presented by Shoreline Vision, will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 8:30AM. Join us in one of the most beautiful, picturesque parks along Lake Michigan - at Pere Marquette Park to benefit The Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI)!
For over one hundred years, the ABVI has carried out the mission to “help individuals with low vision or blindness thrive in a sighted world.” Each year, ABVI serves around 1,000 children and adults from across the state of Michigan, providing programs and assistance for people living with visual impairments or blindness.

DAY OF RACE PACKET PICKUP – 7:00 AM - Saturday, September 2nd in the parking lot between the Coast Guard Station and Margaret Drake Elliot Park

IMPORTANT PARKING UPDATE:
The City of Muskegon implemented paid parking at Pere Marquette last year with the 2023 daily rate on weekends of $10 (or a season pass for $20). Racers will find a number of kiosks located near parking spaces that will take credit cards and coins. Dispensed parking passes must be displayed on the driver’s side dashboard.
The 5K Run is competitive and the 5K Walk is family and dog friendly but remember; dogs must be on a leash and picked up after.
RACE START TIMES:
8:30 AM - 5K start time. Walk will start immediately after the 5K begins.
9:15 AM - 1K Deck Dash Kids Run.
An awards ceremony will be held following the event for the top 3 finishers in each age/gender category, overall winner for male/female, and overall masters (age 40+) for male/female.
Finish times and places will be posted immediately following the event. Results posted at Runnerspace.com and here on Run Sign Up.
All donation checks may be made payable to "ABVI". Mastercard, Visa, and Discover will be accepted on race day or collected by mail:
