Details

Packet Pick Up Volunteers will assist in the setup and tear down of the registration area as well with the check in process of each Deck Dash or 5K participant. Check in will consist of handing out numbers, and t-shirts, and assisting participants with any questions they may have about the ride.

Course Marshall High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 10 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will be assigned a location along the race course and will report there before the race. Safety vests and cones will be provided. Stop all neighborhood traffic attempting to drive onto the course during the race. Kindly but firmly explain that they must take a different route or wait until all runners and walkers have passed.

Along the course. Specific locations will be emailed the week of the race. A map will be given to you upon arrival.

Water Station Medium Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 8 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will help hand out water to runners and walkers.

Location

Along the race course. Specific locations will be emailed the week of the race.

Finish Line Support

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

As a Finish Line volunteer, you will be assigned to assist as needed at the Finish Line area.

Duties may include: Ensuring the safety of the participants and spectators by keeping guests off the course, distributing medals to runners/walkers near the Finish Line area.

Tear Down & Support

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Tear Down and Support Volunteers will work to assist in the tear down of the 5K. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the tear down of tents, tables, signage, course clean up, clean up of beverage and food stations, trash removal, and floating to other volunteer positions and stations as needed.
