DATE: Friday, September 11th
***With much consideration, and due to the current statistics with COVID-19, we have decided to turn this event into a virtual run this year. It remains our goal to support our Local First Responders and their emotional wellness now more than ever.
THERE ARE TWO RACE OPTIONS THIS YEAR! A 3.1 mile or an 11 mile in honor of September 11 attacks. Your registration dollars will go directly to creating programs that focus on teaching the importance of mental health, self-care and self-monitoring. We need your participation to make a difference in the community! We hope that you will participate this year and continue to support our First Responders!
The 9/11 run is to honor those who lost their lives in the September 11th, 2001 terror attacks, as well as Local First Responders and Veterans. Proceeds will go to the Grand Traverse Region Public Safety Alliance. This non-profit fund was set up to recognize emotional wellness for our first responders (Police, Fire, EMS, Emergency Management, 911 Dispatchers and Coast Guard) and offer programs and support for those going through PTSD.
You can run or walk in the event anytime now through midnight on September 11th. There is no course, run wherever you'd like!
To post your results, go to our Race Page Results Tab and submit your results!
TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

All proceeds will go to the Grand Traverse Region Public Safety Alliance. This brand new non-profit fund was set up to help Local First Responders (Police, Fire, EMS, Emergency Management, 911 Dispatchers and Coast Guard) to create programs for emotional wellness and those suffering from PTSD. We cannot lose another valuable life and must protect those who protect us every day. We are thankful for your participation and if you can donate anything extra, your funds will support our first responders.
