12th Annual Run For Your Life · Saturday, October 17, 2026
Thank you for supporting the Help Center's annual Run For Your Life for suicide awareness and prevention. This is a fun run for a deep purpose. The Help Center, serving Gallatin County and the surrounding counties in Southwest Montana, has been answering the call for 55 years, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, at 406-586-3333. When you need help, the Help Center is there.
Please read the information below thoroughly in preparation for race day. We will not provide hard copies at packet pick-up, so we recommend bookmarking or printing this page. We also recommend reading through our FAQ page. Share your experience on social media using #run4yourlifemt and tag us @helpcenterincmt (Instagram and Facebook); set your posts to public so we can see them.

Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-Up
Race day registration and late packet pick-up start at 8:30am inside Gate 8. We strongly recommend registering from home to avoid lines and picking up your packet on Friday. Registration stops at 9:50am.
Safety
If you are showing any signs of illness, please do not attend the in-person event.
Parking
Park anywhere in the Bobcat Football Stadium lot or across Kagy in the Fieldhouse lot. Parking is free on weekends (except handicap or 24 hour reserved spaces). The south entrance on 7th Street will be closed, as it is where runners leave and re-enter the stadium.
Costume Contest & Prizes
We have great prizes for our top 5K finishers and for Costume Contest winners, both human and dog. To be considered, go to the photo booth between 9:00 and 10:00am. Kids' Run participants should go before their race starts at 9:30am. All categories are on our website. Kids receive a bag with a finisher ribbon and goodie bag at the end of their race.
Support at Event
This event funds vital work and brings awareness to mental health and suicide prevention, which can be a difficult topic. Help Center crisis counselors will be on-site the entire morning if anyone needs support. Look for their staff badges; some will be in costume and some will not. If you would like to talk with someone and cannot find a counselor, come to the Registration or Information table inside Gate 8 and a volunteer will help you connect with one.
Photo & Video
We will have videographers and photographers at the race. If you do not wish to be on film or in photos, please let a staff member know at packet pick-up or when you arrive Saturday morning.
Food & Drinks
We will have coffee, hot chocolate, fruit, and granola bars before and after the race.
Clothing & Weather
Wear your bib number on your front outer garment. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Dress for seasonal weather. We do not have a place to store items at the finish line.
Restrooms
Restrooms for all genders are inside Gate 8. The porta-potties near the start area are for home football games, not our event.
Volunteers & Sponsors
Over 100 volunteers make this event possible. Please thank them, and please thank and support our sponsors.
