Registration & Waitlist Status

Is registration still open?

• No, registration is officially closed. Registration opens annually on September 1st and closes immediately when capacity is met. For the 2026 race, the field filled completely on September 14th (compared to September 30th in 2025).

Do you have a waitlist?

• No, we do not maintain a waitlist or a transfer matching list. If you are looking for a spot, we recommend checking in with the local running community, as most participants looking to transfer a bib usually find a runner directly.

Can I get a refund or deferral?

• There are no refunds or deferrals for the Manasquan Turkey Trot. However, if you cannot run, you can still pick up your t-shirt at pre-race pickup or transfer your bib registration to someone else.

Managing Your Registration & Transfers

How can I check if I am registered?

• You can look yourself up online at any time. Go to our homepage at and click the "Find A Participant" tab at the top of the main page to verify your status.

How do I transfer my bib to another runner?

• You can transfer your registration to another person online through RunSignup until November 15th.
          • Method 1: Click the "Manage Registration" link in your confirmation email and select "Transfer to Another Runner."
          • Method 2: Log into RunSignup, go to Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration > Transfer to Another Runner.
  Note: No refunds are issued to the original runner, and the new runner must pay a $10.00 race transfer fee. If you miss the November 15th online deadline, any remaining transfers must be done in person during race week packet pickup. For questions, email manasquanturkeyrun@gmail.com.

Packet Pickup & Race Logistics

Will my bib be mailed to me?

• No, all bibs and shirts are held for physical pickup. There are no mailings. Please refer to our main Runners' Information page for full pickup times and location details.

Can I pick up packets for friends or family members?

• Yes, you may pick up the bib and t-shirt for other people. We will feature an Express Lane dedicated strictly to single-packet pickups. All other pickup lines will handle multi-packet collections.

What do I need to bring to packet pickup?

• Please bring valid proof of registration, such as your printed confirmation page or the confirmation email open on your smartphone.

Is there a bag check on race day?

• No, there is NO bag check available. Please plan accordingly and allow yourself enough time to return any extra personal items to your vehicle before your event starts.

Race Rules & Guidelines

Can I walk the 5 Mile race?

• Yes, walkers are welcome! However, please note that the strict course time limit is 90 minutes. After 90 minutes, the roads reopen to public vehicular traffic and the finish line is dismantled. If you do not think you can finish the 5 miles within 90 minutes, please consider participating in the 1 Mile event instead.

Can I do both the 5 Mile and the 1 Mile events?

• Yes, you can participate in the 5 Mile event, the 1 Mile event, or both. You will use the exact same bib number for both races.

Are strollers or pets allowed?

• No. For the safety of all participants and to comply with our insurance policy, the course is restricted strictly to registered runners, wheelchair division athletes, and official race personnel. Dogs, baby joggers/ strollers, skateboards, in-line skates, roller skates, and bicycles are prohibited.

Results & Awards

Where can I find the complete race results?

• The Manasquan Turkey Trot does not compile complete, overall timed results. Please make sure to look at the race clock above you as you cross the finish line to see your time.

Are there medals or prizes?

        • 1 Mile Fun Run: Finish medals are awarded strictly to participants aged 12 and under in the 1 Mile race. There are no finisher medals             for the 5 Mile race.

        • 5 Mile Race: Special awards will be presented to the Top 20 overall Male and Female finishers.
