Incentives and Prizes
PRIZE SUMMARY
Complete the Streak - Participants who complete 1 or more dedicated miles every day, recording their first miles on Nov. 29 and final miles on Jan. 1, will receive a T-shirt in their size as indicated on their entry form. T-Shirts will be ordered after the challenge ends and distributed to the “streakers.”
Highest Mileage Overall - Regardless if they “Complete the Streak,” or not, awards will be given to the adult (18+) and youth (17 and younger) participants who rack up the highest mileage overall during the challenge. There will be one adult and one youth winner. Winners will receive a wooden medal and a tumblr.
Highest Mileage at Meade State Park - Regardless if they “Complete the Streak,” or not, awards will be given to the adult (18+) and youth (17 and younger) participants who rack up the highest mileage AT MEADE STATE PARK during the challenge. There will be one adult and one youth winner. Winners will receive a bundle of Meade State Park items and a gift certificate to the concession stand.
Random Chance Drawing - Anytime a participant completes one or more miles on a given day during the challenge, they are automatically entered into a prize drawing. The could be ANYTHING and winners are selected completely at random. It's like what mama said about the box of chocolates... you never know what you could get!
- Entry is on a per-day (or special event) basis. Running/walking multiple miles in a single day does not equal multiple entries.
- All registered participants are eligible for prize drawings, regardless of if they complete one day during the challenge or 30+ days.
- A participant can “Complete the Streak,” earn a “Highest Mileage” award, and still be eligible for a prize drawing.
- Only ONE prize drawing may be earned per registered participant. (One participant cannot win multiple prizes by the random chance drawing. However, a participant can win a “Complete the Streak” prize and also win one random chance drawing prize.)
