CABINS

Twenty cabins overlook Dixie Lake. Each sleeps up to six, with two bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, central air, and linens and towels provided.

Cabins have a two-night minimum, which matches the Challenge exactly: check in Friday, race Saturday and Sunday.

Six runners. One cabin. Both days.

Cabins 16 and 17 are fully accessible. Pets are not permitted in the cabins or the cabin area; service animals are welcome.

CAMPGROUND

Sixty full-facility sites sit between Dixie and Hammond lakes. Each has 30- and 50-amp hookups, and some take rigs up to 50 feet.

The campground has bathhouses, showers, and laundry.

Sites 1, 34, and 36 are fully accessible. Pets are welcome under park rules.

GLAMPING

The park's concessionaire runs CareFree Camping: luxury tents in the campground and eco tents near the equestrian area, all set up before you arrive.

Book directly at lakelouisastatepark.com.

PRIMITIVE

There are two pack-in, pack-out sites, Pine Point and Wilderness Point. Neither has water or electricity.

Reserve by calling the ranger station at 352-394-3969.

BOOK NOW

Florida State Parks opens reservations 11 months ahead for Florida residents and 10 months ahead for everyone else, so April is already open. The twenty cabins are the park's whole cabin inventory.

Landing a site is between you and the park. We just run the race. So book now.

HOW TO RESERVE

Cabins and campsites are booked directly through Florida State Parks, not through race registration. Book at reserve.floridastateparks.org or call 800-326-3521 (8 a.m.–5 p.m.).

See the full park map for where the campground and cabins sit.
