THE RIDGE
This is not a mountain. It's a road that keeps asking.
Lake Louisa State Park sits on the northern edge of the Lake Wales Ridge — the reason there is any elevation here at all. The park's paved roads roll over it. So does the course.
Out toward the lake, back up the rise, and then you do it again. By the second time up, you know every hill by feel.
The road is the same both days. That's the hard part.
CLERMONT
Clermont is home to a lot of Central Florida's endurance athletes — runners, triathletes, cyclists. They know these hills. This is two days on them.
MEASURED, NOT ESTIMATED
One repeat climbs about 130 vertical feet, taken from USGS 1-meter lidar — not from a watch. A 50K Streak climbs roughly 1,300 vertical feet across the weekend.
The hills don't change. You do.
