Description

Join Durham's Stronger and Faster and Together We Stand NC in commemorating the death of Ahmaud Arbery, a Black man who was murdered while out on a run in Brunswick, GA on February 23rd, 2019. This strength workout will be held to honor his memory and encourage our participants and greater community to speak about the senseless violence against Black communities in America.

From February 19-26, 2022, we invite you to participate in the Maud 2.23 Strength workout designed by Tyrone Irby, owner of Stronger and Faster Durham and founder of Together We Stand NC.  This event is live and virtual.  You can perform the workout any time between 2/19-2/26.  Each participant will receive a Maud 2.23 LS tee.

Maud 2.23 Strength is presented by Stronger and Faster Durham, HOKA, CEP Compression, Fleet Feet Sports, Together We Stand NC, Omega Sports, and LockLaces.

Registration/Sponsorship is $25 and includes a Maud 2.23 LS shirt.

Together We Stand NC has decided to funnel 100% the donations from Maud 2.23 Strength to the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of Alzheimer’s Association. The donation will be in the name of Donald Dixon, who passed on December 24, 2021.

We invite you to join us for Maud 2.23 and we ask that you remember and honor Ahmaud Arbery as We Lift as ONE.
