Welcome to the 16th Annual Bow Lake Dam 15K/5K Race to Cure Cystic Fibrosis!
We welcome all runners, walkers, and volunteers of all ages.
NEW LAST YEAR:
Earlier start times: You asked, we listened! Start earlier - hit the lake earlier!
Beach area post-race celebration: We'll no longer be going to the church grounds for post-race activities. Save all of those extra steps! Cross the finish line and head right to the public beach lawn for post-race snacks and awards! (sorry, no more BBQ - rules are rules and the public beach says no)
Check out our Toddler Dash after the races! It's the cutest thing you'll see all year!
(Toddler T-shirts available for purchase on race day)
During our first 15 years we have sent over $130,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation thanks to our runners, volunteers, and many supporters.
Thank you for being a part of this wonderful event for a great cause!
This is a RAIN or SHINE event.
Please arrive (and park) along Rt. 202A or Province Rd. between 7:30 AM and *8:30 AM to pick up your shirt and bib. We will have staff available to direct you. The parking lots will fill up quickly.
Please park off the road as much as possible.
Online Registration will close May 29th, 2024 at 11:59pm.
Same day registration will be available from 7:30 AM to *8:30 AM at the Public Beach near the Grange Hall, located at the intersection of Water Street and Province Road. (inside the grange hall if there is inclement weather)

($5 off 65+)
*Same-day Register before 8am for 15K participants
The 15K starts at the Grange Hall at 8:30am, while the 5K starts a short walk up Water Street at 9:00am.
The races will go in opposite directions. The 15K loops around the lake while the 5K goes out and comes back, with both races sharing a finish line next to the Grange Hall.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be a cut-off time of 2 hours and 30 minutes for both courses. Those that are expecting to take longer please be advised that all timing, announcing, and race support will end at 11:00am and will not be given a finish time for either course. Those that choose to continue after that time will be doing so at their own risk.
Please remember to stay on the left side of the road throughout the race (facing traffic). Although it is a low traffic area, the road will not be closed to traffic. Please be careful, especially at water stops.
