Team ROAR 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk

**On-line registration is now closed.  In-person registration starts at 8:30AM on Sunday, Oct. 22nd**

Please join us for the 5th annual Team ROAR 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk hosted by the Donna M. Karlis Memorial Fund on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ.

Our goal is to raise funds to support metastatic breast cancer research and providing crucial assistance to those affected by this challenging disease. 

Proceeds will benefit the Somerset Health Care Foundation and METAvivor Research and Support.

The Donna M. Karlis Memorial Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  The fund was established in memory of Bridgewater resident Donna M. Karlis, who passed away after a courageous and inspiring battle with metastatic breast cancer in 2017 at age 42.

     8:30 a.m. - Check-in / Registration

     9:20 a.m. - Opening Ceremony

     9:30 a.m. - 5K Timed Run start

     9:35 a.m. - 1-Mile Walk start

     **Awards immediately following the race

Entry Fee: $35 ($40 on race day)

Course/Timing:

     Duke Island Park is a USATF certified 5K course. Timing and scoring by CompuScore

Prizes:

     Awards will be given to the top three overall 5K finishers; and top male and female finishers in various age groups.
