Starting in 2025 the race is being directed by a partnership between FarFetched Enterprises and Wolfpack Multisport. We have established a race committee of several local race directors along with the prior CanLake Ultras race director. Our goal is to continue to provide continuity in the race people have loved for over 20 years, but also to make changes when we identify ways to improve the race experience. Most of the race experience will stay the same, but there are a few things that will be changing this year:

1. We will be discontinuing the 25k MiniCan. Introduced in 2018, this race has never had as many participants as the 50 mile and 50k. While this is a good option for people who are not ready for the 50k or 50 mile race, we would like to focus on the core identity of the race as an ultra event.
2. We are adding a bike tour option for the 50 mile course.
3. More flexible policies for transfers, deferrals, and refunds. We will also honor any deferrals from prior years.

There are five different pricing periods, with the registration fee increasing as we get closer to the event.

We have relaxed deadlines and removed all fees associated with participant transfers, distance switching, deferrals, and refunds.

Participant transfers will be allowed through October 9, 2025. There is no fee for either person.
Distance switching will be allowed through October 9, 2025. There is no fee.
Deferrals to next year's event will be allowed through September 23, 2025. There is no fee for deferrals.
Refunds will be available through September 9, 2025. Refunds will include 100% of the registration fee, but will not include RunSignup fees.
