In person racing returns!!!
The Liverpool Turkey Trot is planning for a live in person race this Thanksgiving Day November 25, 2021. Our team will continue to monitor the mandates and recommendation from Onondaga County‘s health department and CDC.
The health and safety of our participants, volunteers and communities are always are top priority. We are very grateful to our loyal supporters throughout this unprecedented time. Additional event details will be communicated once available.
If the race is not able to happen in person, all participants will be moved to the virtual run. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS!

• Registration and packet pickup from 7:30 - 8:40am.
• Race course will be plowed and salted day of race.
The event is held every Thanksgiving morning at OLP near Griffins visitor center, under the lights on the lake. This year’s date is November 25th. The starting gun goes off at 9:00 am SHARP!
LTT will utilize the Chrono track bib timing device. This means that a participant’s time does not begin until they cross the timing mats at the start line, so the wave start will not impact your overall time.
Race InfoSTART/FINISH:
Marked by manhole on E side of a grassy island in SE corner of parking lot for Salt Museum. S/F line is aligned with center of manhole, perpendicular to the E edge of P-lot.
1-mile mark: On ESRT, approx. 10 ft NW of N edge of Sycamore St..
Turn-around: On ESRT, 53.8 ft S of utility pole NG-17, located on N side of ESRT. (The label on the utility pole is in very poor condition.) Marked with PK nail in centerline of ESRT.
2-mile mark: After turn. On ESRT, approx. 100 ft SW of utility pole NG- 15. from utility pole NG 22.
3-mile mark: On curved segment of ESRT, directly S of W side of Salt Museum.

Results will be posted live on race day. Virtual results can be posted anytime from 11/23 through 11/30. Don't forget to sign up for text/email alerts during registration.
Timing & ResultsDesign your own course anywhere you’d like to run / walk your event. Hit the neighborhood pavement, a local park, jump on the treadmill or adventure on your favorite hiking trail. Feel free to visit our certified course at some point over the holiday as well!

As the need for food increases during Covid 19, a big part of your registration goes to the food bank. The ability to turn to food banks and food pantries are crucial to meet the needs of all our communities food insecurity. We have created a cool way to track your support with nonperishable goods(Cans). From 10/26 through 11/30 you can tally the canned goods you collect and see how you rank against others on our leader-board. Post photos. The goal is 500 a person, but any bit helps.
