5 Races, 1 Cause

Get your heartrate going and support local healthcare as you race, jog or walk on and around
Westchester Medical Center’s beautiful and growing campus. Enjoy a Racers’ Village and Family Fun Day
as well as a Kids’ Park, complete with games, merchandise, food and fun! The Stronger Together Race has a race for every fitness level.

The Kyle Goldberg 10k
The Kyle Goldberg 10k starts on the Valhalla campus, heading off campus onto Route 100C, then turning
onto the North County Trail. Racers will return to campus following the route back.

10K Race Start: 8:00am
Registration: $40

The Evan Lieberman 5K
The Evan Lieberman 5k starts out on the Oval and swings around the entire campus! This course is perfect for our racers with strollers. 

5K Race Start: 8:00am

Go the Distance Walk and Family Fun Day

Go the Distance Walk and Family Fun Day is Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital’s largest annual fundraiser.
The day includes a casual, one-mile walk and a host of family activities and entertainment, and offers an
opportunity for team building and community-building.

Go the Distance Walk Start: 11:00am
Race Day Registration: Free
Parking Opens: 11am

Course: 1-mile walk circling the Valhalla campus and Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.

All 5k and10k will receive a jacket and medal. Go the Distance Participants will receive a t-shirt if they fundraise. 
Registration is limited to the first 2,000 participants.
All races are electronically timed. 

Inline skates, baby joggers, strollers and pets are not permitted in the 5k and  10k.

Outpatient care is available in the eight-story Ambulatory Care Pavilion. A $230 million
investment in the health and well-being of Hudson Valley residents, the 260,000-square-foot
Ambulatory Care Pavilion provides the highest quality ambulatory care utilizing the latest
healthcare technologies. The Ambulatory Care Pavilion houses the WMCHealth Heart and

Vascular Institute, Advanced Imaging Center, and an ambulatory surgery center, among other
services. The Ambulatory Care Pavilion includes advanced technologies such as a quenchless
MRI machine – the only one of its kind in the northeast and only the second in the United States
– and one of only a few spectral-detector-based CT devices in North America*. Westchester
Medical Center is emphasizing an enhanced “environment of care” in the Ambulatory Care
Pavilion that reduces stress and promotes healing with amenities such as ambient lighting and

Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital
Located in Valhalla, NY, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital is a 136-bed advanced pediatric center
that cares for the Hudson Valley’s most seriously ill and injured children. The mission of Maria
Fareri Children’s Hospital is to set the standard for family-centered care within an environment
that promotes healing and wellness to children and their families. The hospital’s pediatric
specialties include cardiology services, such as fetal cardiology, electrophysiology and cardiac
surgery; neurology, neurosurgery and other pediatric neurosciences; hematology and oncology
care; organ transplantation (liver, kidney); critical care; emergency care; general surgery and
many other pediatric subspecialties.

The Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (RNICU) at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital cares
for the region’s tiniest and sickest newborns, with Hudson Valley birthing centers transferring
their most challenging and complex cases to Westchester Medical Center’s advanced OB-GYN
programs and Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital’s RNICU for care. Babies as early as 22 weeks’
gestation (normal gestation: 40 weeks) and weighing as little as 9 ounces have been cared for
and nurtured in the hospital’s RNICU, and have survived and thrived. In December 2019, the
Children’s Hospital opened the new Liquid Gold Preemie Milk Bank to house the hospital’s
existing donor milk program. The new facility, unique in New York State, collects, processes and
dispenses lifesaving human milk for premature infants whose mothers are unable to produce
sufficient supply.
