Race Venue

1. Where will be the race be held?  We are back in person this year so our race will be held in the heart of Chevy Chase! It will be around the neighborhood surrounding the Cathedral of Christ the King. 
2. What time does the race start?  9am start
3. What time should I arrive?  Please arrive by 8:30am, so you can get settled and park before the roads close. For the safety of all participants the roads that they will be on will be closed from 8:50 am - 9:50 am (or last participant is off the road by 10:30am)

 

Race Registration

1. When does online registration close?  Online registration will remain open until 9:00 pm on 09/24/2021
2. Can I register at the OktoberFest?  Yes you can but you will not be guaranteed a shirt if registering past 09/17/2021 
3. Can I register on race day?  Yes! Race day registration will be available until 8:45 am on 09/25/2021
4. What do I get for my registration fee? Your registration fee includes a race t-shirt. NOTE: Race t-shirts are not guaranteed if you register after Friday, September 17,2021.
5. Is there a benefiting charity?  Yes, race proceeds benefit the Cathedral of Christ the King parish, Christ the King School and outreach programs.
6. Can I get a refund of my registration fee? Sorry. registration fees go to the benefiting charity and are non-refundable.

 

Race Participation

1. When can I get my race shirt? You can pick up your shirt at Oktoberfest on Friday evening from 4-9pm or before the race on Saturday morning.
2. Can I view a course map?  Yes, we will upload the map shortly. The course begins at the Corner of Providence and Colony Rd, turn Left and run to Romany Road, left on Romany Road to Hart Road, Left on Hart Road to Cassidy Ave, Left on to Providence Road again. You will complete 2 laps.
3. Can I walk the race?  Yes! Walkers are welcome.
4. What is your inclement weather policy? The race will be conducted rain or shine.  In the presence of lightning please wait until the weather is safe to run/walk your race. Please use your best judgement for when you complete the distance you sign up for.

1. Will the race be timed?  Yes! We have partnered with 3 Way Racing again in 2021.
