We are very excited to invite your fitness center to join us for ProActive Therapy’s 13th Annual ProActive for Life 5K’s School Challenge. The Pro.Active will be held in downtown Frankfort on Friday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m. New this year is the 2019 Health & Fitness Challenge. We challenge each fitness center in the community to get a group together and use the Pro-Active for Life 5K as a culmination point of the next six weeks of exercise. Awards to the top two fitness groups with the most competitors across the line, running or walking. Also, a Health & Wellness Fair will be happening on the Old Capitol Lawn from 5:00-8:00 p.m. that same evening. For participating in the Health & Fitness Challenge, you may set up a 10x10 booth at the Health & Wellness Fair to expose your business to all of the runners. For the past 12 years, ProActive Therapy’s ProActive for Life 5K has encouraged, educated and occasionally entertained both new and experienced walkers and runners with our annual event and the festivities surrounding it. From the two “under 18 year old” participants that did our first race in 2007, we can now boast that last year, a full 34.5% of our 719+ registrants were under 18! We are proud to share this because it is almost DOUBLE the national average (18.2) for youth participating in endurance run/walk events. We hope you’ll join us again, or for the first time. I’ve enclosed the following to help you get your teams together for our Health & Fitness Challenge. \I look forward to hearing that your group will be joining us! If there is anything we can do to help you, please do not hesitate to call or email me at 502-320-2264 or firstname.lastname@example.org
