The Lakeside 8K Trail Race is the kind of event that feels like a mini get-away with a bib on. You’ll hit the trails, soak up those lake-side views, and roll through an 8K that’s equal parts adventure and “okay wow, this is actually fun.” 🌲💦

Included with registration, your entry into the park is covered, so you can cruise right in and get to the good part. You’ll start the day with a custom race bib and chip timing with live results, so every split and finish is tracked as it happens. Then it’s time to earn the goods: a custom finisher medal waiting at the end, free professional race photos to capture the moments you didn’t realize looked heroic, and a custom race tattoo for a little extra trail swagger. 🏅⏱️📸🖋️

You’ll also score event-themed giveaways and a race sticker to slap on your bottle, cooler, laptop, or anything else that deserves a little race pride. And when you cross the finish line, we’re doing it right: post-race pancakes, plus music and a relaxed hangout with fellow runners to trade trail stories, high-fives, and the occasional “that hill came outta nowhere.” 🥞🎶

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age group will earn an Age Group Series Medal 🏅—a custom piece to add to your finisher’s lanyard at the end of the event.

Our Age Group Trail Series highlights consistency and performance across the season!🏆 The Top 3 Male & Female in each age group will be recognized for total points earned throughout the series at our annual awards ceremony.
