The Upstate Youth Series is built for our youngest runners and their families — shorter distances, kid-friendly courses, and a welcoming introduction to the sport.
Races in This Series
Scoring & Rules
15 events — any race 10K or shorter.
You're entered in the age-group category based on your age as of December 31st of the current year. You may still place in your current age group for an individual race, but the series itself is scored based on your end-of-year age.
Athletes are automatically entered into the series when they register for any race in it, and are scored automatically by our timing software. To make sure your results are scored correctly, use the same RunSignUp profile every time you register for an Upstate Race Series event.
Maximum of 5 races can score. If you compete in more than 5, we'll take your top 5 finishes.

The top 3 point finishers in each age group are recognized at our Annual Awards Ceremony at the end of the year, with awards handcrafted by Hickory Handcrafted.
