Frequently Asked Questions

Registration
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Click on "Race Info" from the top menu, and choose the race you want.
Q: Can I switch race distances for a CERTIFIED race?
A: Yes, you can switch race distances for the same CERTIFIED race. Simply log in to your RunSignUp account and use the tools on the left menu to switch races. You will need to pay the difference if you're upgrading to a more expensive race.
Q: Can I transfer my race entry to another person?
A: Yes, you can, for both CERTIFIED and STANDARD races. Log in to your RunSignUp account and use the tools on the left menu to transfer your entry to another person.
Q: Can I defer my registration to 2026?
A: We do not allow race deferment to 2026. If you are concerned about injury, travel issues, etc. please consider race insurance to hold off on registration closer to the event.
Packets and Bibs
Q: When and where is packet pick up?
A: Go to "Details" on the top menu, then click on "Packet Pick Up" to see the dates and locations for packet pick up.
Certified Race Courses
Q: Where can I download printable maps?
A: Go to the Course Maps page and you will see links for downloading printable maps and directions (in PDF) once they are available.
Q: Where are the start/finish lines, water stations, and portable toilets located on the courses?
A: This information is shown on both the online maps and printable maps.
Q: Are the CERTIFIED courses hilly?
A: They are only moderately hilly. There are many courses in Greenville with more hills.
Timing, Results, and Awards
Q: What are the Award Categories and what are the (actual) awards for the races?
A: Go to "Details" on the top menu, then click on "Awards Info" for complete information.
The Spinx Company and Charitable Giving
Q: What is the Spinx Company?
A: Glad you asked. The Spinx Company owns and operates over 80 convenience stores across South Carolina. They are headquartered in Greenville and the first stored opened near downtown in 1972. The company's founder, Stewart Spinks, is a visionary and great believer in giving back to the community. The Spinx Company has been title sponsor for Spinx Run Fest since 2004. With the generous support from Spinx, the Greenville Track Club has established Spinx Run Fest as one of the most popular Fall running events in the Southeast and over the years, a quarter million dollars in proceeds from the event have gone to help local charities.
