Steps for Sarcoma is a rain-or-shine event

• We fully intend to hold the walk as scheduled, even if light rain is in the forecast. Participants are encouraged to dress approproately for the weather, including bringing rain jackets, umbrellas, and comfortable footwear as needed. 
• The safety of our participants, volunteers, sponsors, and staff remains our highest priority. In the event os severe weather conditionsm include lightning, high winds, or other circumstances that could pose a safety risk, event organizers may delay,modify, or cancel portions of the event.
• Any changes will be communicated as quickly as possible through email, social media, and our website. Please continue to monitor your email and our official event channels for the latest updates.

Event location

• Driving directions to CAS — 2540 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202 
• Please note, you must register for this event to be on CAS property on event day.

Dogs are welcome

• You must register your dog(s) online when you register for the event or at the event. 
• Bring your well-behaved dog on a non-retractable leash.
• Your dog must be maintained on a leash for the entire event.
• Dog bandanas will be available at the registration tent.

Event day timeline

• 8:30 a.m. – Day of registration (online registration available) and packet pick up begins
• 9:30 a.m. – Survivor photo
• 9:45 a.m. – Stage area program begins
• 10:15 a.m. – Walk begins
