Impact
Each year, Steps for Sarcoma supports more life-saving research this disease, a rare cancer of soft tissue or bone.
Sarcomas are most prevalent in children, constituting 20% of childhood cancers. In dogs, they make up about 15% of cancers. The disease represents less than 1% of adult cancers. As a less-common cancer that mostly affects children and pets, sarcoma can be overlooked for research funding, limiting the treatment options available to patients.
Your support of Steps for Sarcoma helps fill this funding gap and has enabled the OSUCCC – James to build a cutting-edge, nationally recognized sarcoma research program. Together, we are making strides toward a cancer-free world. Thank you - we couldn’t do this without you!
