Team Race - FAQ
Do I need to sign up and pay for the entire team at the same time? No. Just sign yourself up and create a team. Tell your family and friends when they sign up to join your team.
Does it cost extra to have a team? No
Is there a minimum and maximum limit for the Team? The minimum is 4. There is no maximum. Your top 4 finishers will be scored.
What if I create a team and we don't get the minimum of 4 to join.? You will still be listed as a team but won't be in the team scoring. No harm no foul!
If I am on a team am I still in the 5k results? Yes
How is the team race scored? We add up the times of each team's top 4 finishers. The team with the fastest average time of their top 4 runners wins!
What is a COED Team? The Coed team must have at least 2 males and 2 females. The COED team's score is the average time of their top 2 male and top 2 females on the team.
If my team wins where do we pick up the Trophy? At the awards table at the finish.
