Refund, Deferral, and Transfer Policy
Fees and Taxes: RunSignup assigns taxes based on national and state tax codes; RSU charges a standard e-commerce fee based on the overall sum of the e-commerce purchase.
Refunds: Following event industry protocol, there are no refunds. All registration sales are final.
5k Deferrals to 2026: Deferrals will be allowed for one year, with a $10 nominal fee. The deferral deadline is May 20, 2026. 5k Transfer Your Entry to a Friend: Race numbers may be transferred for the same $10 nominal fee. The transfer deadline is May 20, 2026. No Triple Crown deferral or transfer: All Triple Crown participants can complete the event as a "virtual athlete," so there are no deferrals or transfers of the Triple Crown.
Reselling: Race numbers cannot be sold.
Packet Pickup: Friends and family may pick up your race items at registration. Race goodies will NOT be mailed to participants who cannot attend the event weekend.
Pregnancy Policy: We support all runners, so if you wish to change your registration status due to your pregnancy, please contact tia@runtucson.net.

Q: What if I signed up for the TMC 5k or the Triple Crown and can't make it on race week. How do I get my souvenirs?
A: Send someone to pick them up for you at one of the three pick up times, or come to the Running Shop through June to pick up items on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q: What if I got hurt and can't do the race? What if I have to manage a last-minute emergency and can't make the race? Do I get a refund?
A: Even if you cannot do the race, you can pick up your souvenirs or send someone to pick up your souvenirs or come to the Running Shop in June and pick up your souvenirs. There are no refunds or deferrals, but if you want to transfer your race entry to another person, you must complete the transfer by May 28th at midnight. Q: What if I cannot make it to any of the three packet pick up times?
A: Please send a friend or someone else to pick up your items.
Q: Will you mail my packet if I can't make it to any of the three packet pickup times?
A: No. Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to mail individual race packets to folks who cannot make packet pickup times.
Q: Will you save my packet for me to pick up later if I can't make it to any of the three packet pickup times?
A: Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to save individual race packets. However, after the race all remaining shirts and GZTC items will be available at The Running Shop through the end of June, on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot promise that we will have a race number for you.
