LGRAW's Bold in the Cold 5K & 15K

This is the 24th running of the Bold in the Cold event.
A portion of race proceeds goes to Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers Scholarship Fund.
Enjoy either a 5K or 15K event that wind through the beautiful C Shane Wilbanks Trail around Lake Grapevine offering breathtaking views of the lake.
It is a great race to start your year!
We look forward to seeing you on race day if not sooner at the clubhouse.

Instead of shirts, participants will receive a special item to help keep warm after the race (complementing the beanies from 2020 and the scarves from 2022).
Age group winners will receive a unique prize.

Oct 14 - Oct 31, 2023: $30 (5K), $40 (15K)
Nov 01 - Dec 31, 2023: $35 (5K), $45 (15K)
Jan 01, 2024 - Packet Pickup: $40 (5K), $50 (15K)
Race Day: $45 (5K), $55 (15K)
12 and under special pricing: $15 (either race) through Dec. 31, 2023; $20 (either race) through Race Day
RAW members: $5 discount off listed prices through Dec. 31, 2023

Award Times: 5K by 9:00 AM, 15K by 10:00 AM
No duplication of awards. Top overall finisher awards are based on gun time. Age group awards are based on chip time.
If you are not present to pick up your award, you may come to the RAW Clubhouse on the weekends to pick up your award. We cannot mail any awards.
Timing System: IPICO chip timing system powered by the Race Day Scoring application. Remember to pick up your chip on race day and have it attached to your shoe.

Weekly Social Run: Hop & Sprint every Tuesday at 6:30 PM at Hop & Sting Brewery.
Weekend Runs/Walks: Every Saturday and Sunday starting at 7:00 AM at the Clubhouse in Oak Grove Park.

Race Start: Begins: 8:00AM. Ends: 10:00AM.
Both the 5K and 15K races start simultaneously.
Course Split: The 5K will split from the 15K near the finish.
Location: The races take place on the trails around Lake Grapevine.
Course Management: The course will be well marked, and there will be course marshals to guide participants.

Race Start: Begins 8:00 AM. Ends: 11:00 AM.
Both the 5K and 15K races start simultaneously.
Course Split: The 15K course diverges from the 5K course at approximately 2.8 miles.
Location: The races take place on the trails around Lake Grapevine.
Course Management: The course will be well marked, and there will be course marshals to guide participants.
