IOWA DONOR NETWORK
Iowa Donor Network (IDN) is a non-profit organization that operates as the primary contact for organ, tissue and eye donation services for the state of Iowa. As an organization, it strives to provide the best possible care to its donor families, facilitate the recovery of organs and tissues, educate the communities it serves, and support special events to promote donation throughout Iowa. To fulfil its mission, it collaborates with the Iowa Lions Eye Bank, healthcare professionals and organizations statewide to honor the gift of life.
IDN will be on site with a special guest appearance, Michal Kutcher. Michael will be at The Great Pumpkin Run for a meet & greet before the race AND will be doing an inspirational speech after about how he got through many obstacles in his life. Him and his brother, Ashton, grew up outside of Amana, Iowa and we are very excited to have him for the event! He is a proud donor recipient of a heart when he was only 14 years old!
FALL FUN
The farm will have all of it's regular activities available on race morning as well. From a pumpkin patch to a corn maze, a giant slide to a jumping pillow, the farm has it all. For more information Bloomsbury Farm's activities, check it out here: Fall Fun!
The farm concessions will be open beginning at 8am! Stop by for rolls, coffee, orange juice, veggie trays and more!
HAPPY HOUR
Bloomsbury Farm will be running happy hour specials on Friday evening and Saturday morning! Friday during packet pickup, they are offering $1.00 off drinks in the bar! Please show your bib for discount. On Saturday, they are offering the following:
• $2.00 12 ounce Michelob Ultras
• $2.00 off Zombie Awakening Coffee Brew
• $2.00 off frozen rosé wine slushee from 10am-12pm
RESULTS
Official times will be available on RunSignUp.com shortly after the run. Wear your bib on your outermost layer and on your front side for the most accurate results. NOTE: This is also recommended so you can find your race photos.
