* Takes 5 members to be considered a Team in the 5K Competition.
* Team Types: Lawyers or YMCA teams
* Teams can be any combination of runners, walkers and/or kids.
* No Team race day registration!

Build Your Team
Recruit your team at home, church school, and work. Invite family, friends, and co-workers to join you at the Run for the Cause 5K!
* Choose a Team Captain and team name
* Team Captain will register first and create the team (you must register online)
* Recruit at least 4 members (must have a total of 5 including captain), there is no maximum limit of participants
* Set a goal and fundraise!
Team Captain Responsibilities
Be a leader, be a team captain! The role of Team Captain is very important in recruiting and organizing a team.
* Establish a team name
* Recruit, organize, and build your team
* Ensure a minimum of 3 individuals have registered under your team name by September 8th 5:00 pm CT
* GET CREATIVE AND HAVE FUN!
* Communicate reminders about the race, fundraising efforts, and deadlines to your team
Team Awards
Have fun and be creative while supporting Race to the Court House! In the spirit of friendly competition, 1st PlaceTeam Awards will be given as follows:
* Fastest Team (Based on chip time)
* Awards will be given for the fastest Team Categories: Lawyer, Community, and YMCA Branch. The team must have 3 or more 5K members for scoring. Top 3 chip timed team members will be recorded then averaged to determine the fastest team. So the fastest 3 members of the team will compete for Fastest Team awards.
Team Recognition:
* Team with Most Participants (Based on the number of members on September 8th 5:00 pm)
NOTE: Entry fee is non-refundable. You can make changes to your registration or transfer to another person by logging back into RunSignUp.com with your User ID [How to make changes]. Changes or transfers must be completed before November 30.
