Mike’s incredible running journey began in 1995 when he set out to complete the Boston Marathon—a life-changing decision that sparked an extraordinary career. Since then, he has conquered over 300 marathons and ultramarathons worldwide, racked up Guinness World Records, represented Team USA, and even claimed victories in marathons on all seven continents.
Some of Mike’s most jaw-dropping achievements include:
✨ Breaking the world record for running seven marathons on seven continents in seven days.
✨ Running 3,234 miles across America from San Francisco, California, to Washington, D.C., and finishing in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. He averaged 50 miles a day over 75 days, traversing "America’s Loneliest Highway," Route 50.
✨ Celebrating his 50th birthday in epic fashion by running the entire 2,197-mile Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia in just over 60 days. Tackling 464,500 feet of elevation gain—the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest 16 times—he raised funds for clean water projects along the way.
