Pre Race Day Questions
To qualify for an elite entry for Trolley Run, you must be able to run a sub-5-minute mile pace. To secure a special registration code as an elite athlete, please submit your top finishing times to trolleyrun@ccvi.org.
The location for packet pick has not been determined at this time.
Friday, April 23: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 24: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Absoluetly! Just be sure to let us know who you are picking up for so we can cross them off our list.
**If youre on a Team of any type, please check with your Team Captain on how you will receive your packet.
Absolutely, however there will not be a refund for the difference in event fees.
Of course! You will get your shirt at packet pick up and will receive your medal if you opt-in for a medal during the registration process. If you decide you don't want a medal on race day, that cost will be donated back to CCVI.
Yes and No! While we love our furry friends, pets are not allowed on the race route, with the exception of service animals.
Race Day Questions
Absolutely! Strollers, wagons and wheelchairs are welcomed! More information about transportation to come!
We suggest parking at the Country Club Plaza, since this is where you will finish the race! There are plenty of free parking garages and street parking in this area and the surrounding area. We will be shuttling all runners to the start line with that last bus leaving at 7:50 AM. Click HERE to view the full schedule!
**If you park at the start line, there will be one shuttle running back up to the start line post-race at 9:30 AM
Yes there is! Race-day packet pick up will be available on Ward Parway, catty-corner to Capital Grille on the Country Club Plaza between 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. We do advise picking up your packet beforehand to avoid missing your start time due to long lines.
We do not have an offical place to leave items at this time.
Yes! There are porta-potties located at the start line and finish line.
We will no longer host our annual post-race block party. This is predominately due to increased costs for the race and previous vendor donations limited with rising expenses of their own.
*Don't worry though, the usual bananas, water and beer will still be there!!

If you didn't receive your medal, or someone else you know didn't get theirs, you're welcome to reach out to CCVI at 816-841-2284 and arrange a time to swing by our main office to get one.
The CCVI Trolley Run is owned and operated by Children's Center for the Visually Impaired (501c), and 100% of the event proceeds support programs and services for children, birth through school-age, who are blind or visually impaired. CCVI relies on the income from this event; therefore, refunds are not available.
In the event that our in-person race is canceled, all registrations will automatically be moved to virtual registrations, and you'll still have the opportunity to receive your event shirt and medal!
