Race Day - Sunday, April 26th, 2026
4 Mile Race Start: 8:00 A.M.
All participants will be assigned wave start times based on pace selected during registration, with the faster runners going first. You will receive notice of your start time approximately three weeks prior to the event.
Kids Run | Start Line: 9:45 a.m.
The Kids' Run takes place at Ward Parkway near the finish line after the final runner of the 4-mile crosses the finish line. Caregivers choose the distance for your child - self-seed in the appropriate corral upon arrival at Ward Parkway!
SHUTTLE SCHEDULE
Location: Broadway & Nichols
Bus Route: Broadway to 47th > to Jefferson to Ward Parkway to > 75th to Washington to 76th to Wornall
Early Buses Arrive: 6:00 AM
First Bus Leaves: 6:15 AM
Last Bus Leaves: 7:50 AM
Start: 75th & Wornall (no race day parking)
Finish: Ward Parkway & Central Street on the Country Club Plaza
Cancellation Policy
The CCVI Trolley Run is owned and operated by Children's Center for the Visually Impaired and 100% of the event proceeds support programs and services for children, birth through school-age, who are blind or visually impaired. CCVI relies on the income from this event, therefore, refunds are not available. In the event that our in-person race is canceled, all registrations will automatically be moved to virtual registrations and you'll still receive the event shirt and medal!

Elite Athletes
The CCVI Trolley Run 4-mile event is a USATF certified course and offers cash prizes for the top 3 male and female finishers at the in-person event on April 26, 2026. To qualifiy as an elite runner for Trolley Run, and recveive a special registration code, you must be running a sub-5-minute mile.
To secure a special registration code as an elite athlete, please submit your top finishing times to trolleyrun@ccvi.org.
