Swim Course
Try Tri Indy is hosted at Brownsburg High School based out of their west parking lot and utilizing their beautiful 50 Meter pool for the swim.
Long Sprint:
Long Sprint athletes will swim a 400 meter serpentine swim. Participants will start in the far east (left) lane, and swim down in one lane, under the lane line, and back in the next lane until they are on the far west end of the pool having completed 8 lengths total. You time starts when you jump in the pool off the the timing mat in the first lane.
Super Sprint:
Super Sprint athletes will swim a 200 meter serpentine swim. Participants will start in the middle (5th) lane, and swim down in one lane, under the lane line, and back in the next lane until they are on the far west end of the pool having completed 4 lengths total. You time starts when you jump in the pool off the the timing mat in the first lane.
COVID-19 Adjustment:
· We will assign bibs based on estimated swim time fastest to slowest
· Athletes will stay socially distant in the parking lot while listening for instructions
· We will corral 25 people at a time with cones marking their space to stand outside
· We will send people to start the swim individually and maintain single traffic flow in/out of pool
We will require disposable masks on all the way up to the start line (timing mats) at the pool. We will have a trash can for you to toss your mask. Please remember that masks are required after finishing the event so have those accessible.
